This is a 2002 neon that has been in bad storage and is now filled with mold. You can’t see it but the smell is OVERWHELMING. Unless we can definitely kill the mold we will have to get rid of the car because we have our kids to worry about. We want to try to avoid tearing up the carpet and removing the upholstery. Any suggestions?

Take it to a Car Detailer & see if they can remove the mold from your car. They have lots of cleaners, etc. that can do the job. If they don’t think they can remove all the mold, they’ll let you know. They may be able to refer you to someone who can.
